These programme rules explain how PicToPC records referrals and calculates commission. Joining is free and uses your own confirmed PicToPC account.
50% for the first year, 20% for life after
You earn 50% of eligible subscription payments during the year starting at your referred customer’s first successful paid subscription payment. From that payment’s first anniversary, you earn 20% of their eligible subscription payments for the lifetime of that customer’s account. Dates use UTC. Cancelling and restarting a subscription does not restart the first year.
Free users remain your referrals
New customers must create their account using your referral link or enter your code during signup. The valid code used at account creation is stored as their original affiliate. That relationship stays attached when they confirm their email, use the Android app or upgrade later. There is no time limit between their signup and upgrade. Later links cannot replace the original affiliate, and codes cannot be added retrospectively to an existing account.
The signup link carries the code without a tracking cookie. If someone leaves signup before creating their account, they should return through your link or enter your code when signing up.
What earns commission
Eligible amounts are GBP subscription payments actually received after discounts, excluding tax, refunded amounts and chargebacks. Payment processing fees are not deducted from the commission base. Commission is rounded to the nearest penny per payment. Free plans, complimentary Premium, trials, failed payments and unpaid invoices do not earn commission or start the first-year clock. A refund reduces the commission associated with that payment; it does not restart the first year.
Current preview and payouts
Referral tracking is available now. Premium is currently complimentary for all accounts. Paid subscription billing and affiliate payouts are not connected, so there are no subscription commissions to pay during this preview. Your dashboard records referrals now and will show commission when verified paid subscription transactions are connected.
Payout methods, timing and any payout threshold will be published before paid subscriptions launch. A recorded commission is not confirmation that a transfer has been made. We do not collect bank or payment account details during this preview.
Fair referrals
Refer other customers, not yourself or accounts you control. Do not use spam, misleading promises or fake accounts. Make clear when sharing a link that you may earn commission. PicToPC can disable links used for abuse and review disputed referrals. Referral access never includes the customer’s photos, email address or private account information.
Your records
Referral relationships and commission records are stored separately from photos. The photo-retention photo deletion rule does not delete these records. Your dashboard shows aggregate totals rather than customer identities. Read our privacy information for more details.
