These programme rules explain how PicToPC records referrals and calculates commission. Joining is free and uses your own confirmed PicToPC account.
50% for the first year, 20% for life after
You earn 50% of eligible subscription payments during the year starting at your referred customer’s first successful paid subscription payment. From that payment’s first anniversary, you earn 20% of their eligible subscription payments for the lifetime of that customer’s account. Dates use UTC. Cancelling and restarting a subscription does not restart the first year.
Two months of Standard for new referred customers
New PicToPC customers who sign up using a valid affiliate link or code receive one introductory offer of two calendar months of Standard, starting when they first confirm their email address. Google signup also qualifies. The offer is for new accounts created after its launch on 12 September 2026; existing accounts cannot add it retrospectively. No card is required. At expiry they return to Free unless they choose a paid subscription. Photos keep the expiry set when they were uploaded.
Customers who choose a subscription during the offer keep their remaining free time before their first payment. Near the end of the offer, they may need to wait until it expires to subscribe. The first payment is the amount and currency shown at checkout for their chosen monthly or yearly plan, with renewal at that frequency unless cancelled. The annual price saving is separate from this introductory offer. No commission is earned during free access; your first commission year begins with their first successful payment.
Free users remain your referrals
New customers must create their account using your referral link or enter your code during signup. The valid code used at account creation is stored as their original affiliate. That relationship stays attached when they confirm their email, use the Android app or upgrade later. There is no time limit between their signup and upgrade. Later links cannot replace the original affiliate, and codes cannot be added retrospectively to an existing account.
With the visitor’s permission, a first-party cookie remembers the first valid affiliate link for 30 days on that browser. Later visits do not extend the expiry, and later links do not overwrite an active remembered referral. The visitor can change or clear the selected code before signup. Without cookie permission, they can sign up directly through your link or enter your code. Cookies can be cleared in Privacy settings; another device or browser will need the link or code again.
What earns commission
Eligible amounts are GBP subscription payments actually received after discounts, excluding tax, refunded amounts and chargebacks. Payment processing fees are not deducted from the commission base. Commission is rounded to the nearest penny per payment. Free plans, complimentary Standard, trials, failed payments and unpaid invoices do not earn commission or start the first-year clock. A refund reduces the commission associated with that payment; it does not restart the first year.
Billing and payouts
Referral tracking and Standard billing are available. Verified paid Stripe invoices and later refunds update the commission shown in your dashboard. Free accounts and failed or unpaid invoices do not create commission.
Payouts are in GBP via PayPal, with a £50 minimum available balance. Add an email linked to your PayPal account and request a payout from your dashboard. Earnings below £50 carry forward. Requests are reviewed and paid manually; no automatic payout or fixed payment date is promised. The dashboard distinguishes requested amounts from completed payments.
Only one request can await review at a time. Its amount is reserved from your available balance, and it keeps the PayPal email saved at the time of the request. Changing your email affects future requests. Refunds or chargebacks can reduce earnings and may require a request to be cancelled and submitted again for the adjusted amount. Adjustments after a completed payout are offset against future earnings. A request is marked paid only after the PayPal payment has been recorded.
Link clicks count tracked visits to your referral signup link, with duplicate requests from the same open page counted once and basic abuse filtering. They are not unique people and do not earn commission. Tracking starts when the click feature is enabled; earlier visits cannot be reconstructed. Free signups means confirmed referrals who have not yet paid; paid signups counts each customer with a successful payment once, even if they later cancel.
Fair referrals
Refer other customers, not yourself or accounts you control. Do not use spam, misleading promises or fake accounts. Make clear when sharing a link that you may earn commission. PicToPC can disable links used for abuse and review disputed referrals. Referral access never includes the customer’s photos, email address or private account information.
Your records
Referral relationships and commission records are stored separately from photos. The photo-retention photo deletion rule does not delete these records. Your dashboard shows aggregate totals rather than customer identities. Read our privacy information for more details.
