Set up your Chrome extension

Send your PicToPC photos and saved item details straight into your marketplace listing draft.

What to do next

  1. In the store tab, click Add to Chrome, then confirm Add extension.
  2. Return to your PicToPC library and refresh the page. If you do not have it open, use the button below and sign in if asked.
  3. Choose an item and click Send to marketplace. Keep the library tab open while you add it to your listing.

Send an item to eBay in 3 steps

  1. In your library, click Send to marketplace under an item.
  2. Open the eBay listing you are working on. Open its Photos section.
  3. Click Insert PicToPC photos at the bottom right.

Keep both tabs open until the photos appear. Check the photos and details, then publish the listing yourself.

Choose which details to send

Click the PicToPC icon at the top of Chrome, then choose Default settings. Tick what you want to send to eBay. Each change saves on its own and also applies to the floating eBay button. You can change these choices at any time.

Ticked options replace details already in your listing. Untick them to keep what you wrote. Blank PicToPC fields leave your listing unchanged.

The description option fills a navy and teal template using your saved title, description and condition. Empty sections are left out. If all three are blank, your existing description stays unchanged.

Latest manual extension — 0.7.18

Download extension 0.7.18 to send saved eBay backups to marketplace drafts. Your saved eBay defaults still apply. This ZIP is separate from the Chrome Web Store release.

Extract the ZIP. Open Chrome’s Extensions page from its menu, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json. Disable any older PicToPC copy first. If you already use an unpacked copy, replace its files and click Reload.

Refresh your PicToPC library and marketplace draft after updating. The welcome tab opens only on a new installation; you can also open the welcome guide here.

Amazon UK Seller Central — offer details and photos (0.7.15)

Download extension 0.7.15, extract it and reload your unpacked PicToPC extension in Chrome. Refresh PicToPC and Amazon. This update moves Amazon’s floating insert button to the bottom right and includes the empty-image-section fix. It is separate from the Chrome Web Store release.

Select Send to marketplace on your PicToPC item, then open Amazon UK Seller Central’s Add offer page. Click Fill Amazon offer with PicToPC at the bottom right. Options lets you fill the SKU, GBP price, item condition and saved offer condition note, and upload photos. The SKU does not include your warehouse location.

Photos and condition notes require a Used condition. Choose the actual grade: Like New, Very Good, Good or Acceptable. The extension selects it and waits for Amazon’s fields to appear. If your saved condition just says Used, it keeps an existing Used grade or asks you to choose one. For New offers, untick photos and condition note.

Send up to 6 photos into an empty offer image section. For a larger group, choose Use only the first 6 photos. Amazon requires supported photos under 10 MB; resize any photos that exceed this limit. Video is not sent. Wait for the thumbnails, review the details and choose fulfillment yourself. PicToPC never clicks Submit.

Craigslist — details first, then photos (0.7.12)

Download extension 0.7.12, extract it and reload the unpacked extension in Chrome. Refresh PicToPC and your Craigslist draft. This update restores the bottom-left floating button when Craigslist’s image uploader loads late or redraws. It is separate from the Chrome Web Store release.

Select Send to marketplace on your PicToPC item. On Craigslist’s posting details page, click Fill PicToPC details. The title, plain-text description and saved condition note are filled when selected. SKU: your-code goes at the bottom of the public description, without the warehouse location. Optional GBP price filling rounds to the nearest whole pound.

Check the category, condition, location and contact details yourself, then click Craigslist’s Continue. On its image page, click Insert PicToPC photos. Keep your PicToPC tab open; the same selection stays available until its 15-minute expiry. Craigslist allows 24 photos in total, including existing images. Wait for the thumbnails and check them before continuing. Video is not sent and PicToPC does not publish the ad.

Automatic eBay condition — update 0.7.10

The extension selects your saved New, Used or other matching condition before inserting photos and details. It waits for eBay to show the relevant fields. New items without a separate condition-note field can still receive photos and other details.

Download update 0.7.10 ZIP for manual installation. This ZIP is separate from the Chrome Web Store release. Extract it and reload your unpacked PicToPC extension in Chrome, then refresh both your PicToPC library and eBay draft and select the item again.

Help with item details

Box A3 and item code 001 become A3-001 in eBay’s Custom label (SKU).

In extension 0.7.10, Set item condition and note selects the condition saved with your PicToPC item before filling its note. If eBay does not offer a matching choice, select it yourself and untick this option. Private notes are never sent.

The description template works in eBay’s visual editor or with Show HTML code turned on. It uses your latest saved details and leaves private notes and stock locations out of the description.

Price filling works with Buy it now prices in £ GBP. It does not change the currency. Detail options start unticked outside the UK.

Send a video with Standard or Ultra

Add one video per item, up to 1 minute. Open eBay’s video upload box and keep Include item video ticked.

Remove any old video first. Wait for eBay to finish, then check that it plays.

Facebook Marketplace — update 0.7.9

Version 0.7.9 adds an Insert PicToPC photos button at the bottom right of Facebook’s item listing editor. Select an item in PicToPC, open your Facebook draft, then click the button.

Send up to 10 photos including photos already in the draft, plus one video up to 1 minute. For a larger group, tick Use only the first 10 photos in Options. The remaining photos stay in PicToPC.

Use Options to fill the title, description and private SKU (location-sku). More details opens automatically. The description is plain text; the SKU goes only into Facebook’s dedicated SKU field.

Tick Set price only when your Facebook listing uses £ GBP. Checked fields replace existing values; blank values leave them unchanged. Review the draft and choose its category and condition before publishing.

Download update 0.7.10 ZIP for manual installation. This preview ZIP is separate from the approved Chrome Web Store release. Extract it, open Chrome’s Extensions page, enable Developer mode and choose Load unpacked. Disable any older PicToPC copy first, then refresh Facebook and PicToPC.

Gumtree — title, description and up to 20 photos

Download extension 0.7.10, reload it in Chrome, then refresh PicToPC and Gumtree. Select Send to marketplace on an item, open Gumtree’s Post an Ad details page, and click Insert PicToPC photos at the bottom right.

Gumtree allows 20 photos in total, including existing draft photos. Options lets you send just the first 20 from a larger group. The title and plain-text description are filled when selected. Add SKU adds a public SKU: your-code line at the bottom of the description, without your warehouse location. Untick it to keep the SKU private.

Video is not sent to Gumtree. Check the photos, category, condition, price and location yourself before posting. PicToPC does not post the ad.

Etsy and Vinted

These sites can receive photos only. This is a preview feature, so some listing pages may not work.

Open the site’s photo section. Click PicToPC in Chrome’s puzzle-piece menu, then Insert photos. Keep the popup and your library open until it finishes.

Photos are missing or will not send

You can send up to 24 photos at once. Make sure your listing has room for them.

Select the item again if you refresh PicToPC or wait over 15 minutes. Check for photos already added before trying again.

You can also download photos from your library and add them yourself. Your saved originals stay unchanged.

Replacing the old test extension

Remove the old copy from Chrome’s Extensions page, then install the store version above. Refresh PicToPC and your eBay listing.
