Take the photos and save the item
Use the PicToPC Android app to take clear shots of the product. Show the whole item, the label, included parts and any damage. Save and sync the group, then open your library on the computer using the same account.
Check that all the photos belong to this item. Give it a title and a SKU if you use stock codes. A clear group now helps avoid the wrong photo in a listing later.
Select what you want to send
- Install the PicToPC Chrome extension and follow its setup steps.
- In your PicToPC library, select the item photos you want to use.
- Choose Send to marketplace and check the fields you want to include.
- Open your eBay listing draft and find the photo section.
- Click Insert PicToPC photos and wait for the upload to finish.
Keep the PicToPC tab open. The selection lasts for 15 minutes. If you wait longer, return to your library and select the photos again.
Check the details before inserting
The extension can help fill the title, SKU, condition notes, description, GBP price and quantity. Select only the fields you want it to fill. A selected field with a value may replace what is already in your draft.
Use the SKU to match the draft to the item on your shelf. Do not use private stock notes as public sales copy. Set any details the extension does not fill directly in eBay.
Choose a helpful photo order
Make the first image a clear view of the actual item. Follow it with other angles, labels, included parts and close-ups of wear. eBay allows up to 24 pictures in a listing; pictures already in the draft count towards that total.
A fault should be easy to see, not hidden at the edge of a dark image. Match the condition notes to what the photos show.
Finish with a quick review
PicToPC helps fill the draft. You stay in control of checking and publishing it. If you are following the first-photo setup, return to PicToPC and finish setup once the photo is in your draft.
- Are these photos of the exact item being sold?
- Do the title, model and included parts match?
- Is the price right, and are delivery options set?
- Are marks and faults shown and described?
- Is the main photo the one you want buyers to see first?
